This is the most amazing and exciting jungle trip to Machupicchu with bikes and trek which we are going to have 4 or 5 hours dawn hill approx.

On the second day we will discover more adventures among the mountains, valleys, rivers and crossing small villages, coca plantations, coffee and a lot of kind of fruits and walking on the old real Inca trail which connect to the city of the Incas.

In the afternoon we will take a relaxing in the hot spring which is good for rheumatism, stress, and also you going to feel the recover the energy that you lost in the trek. In our third day is the waterfall and Aguas calientes.

Day 1: Downhill Mountain Biking + Rafting


Hotel pick-up at 7:00 am. Starting point of our adventure is the Local Bus Terminal (to the North at Santiago district). We leave the city seeing beautiful natural surroundings with rolling hills until we reach the town of Chinchero overlooking the Sacred Valley at about 2700 m.a.s.l.

After descending this mountainside we arrive to a brief stop at Ollantaytambo where we start the 46 km. uphill to the ABRA MALAGA (Mountain Pass at 4350 m.a.s.l) approx. at midday, the starting point again to our downhill, just in case the weather be not good for riding bikes due to mist, raining or snow, we will go further down with the bus for about 30 minutes to the next place being the hamlet of Carrizales, after that we descend to the hot valleys of the high jungle towards QUILLABAMBA, this downhill will last about 5 hours, passing by little rustic villages, ravines, fruit groves and streams. During the trip we will stop 2 times to visit the archeological centers of Inkatambo (Lodging Place in Quechua) who was an Inca fortress & guarding place for the route which came up from the jungles to the highlands (this route is being paved nowadays) and continuing with Huamanmarka (Falcon Land) that includes a main plaza, a sacred temple, urban sector, administrative areas, agricultural terraces at riverside and a religious & ceremonial center (Ushnu). Both visits last about 30 minutes each. We arrive to the first major town of Santa Maria about 13:00 pm. where we will rest and have lunch, after lunch we will going to do a rafting in Vilcanota river.


Day 2: Santa Maria - Santa Teresa Trek and hot spring

 We get up very early this time at 5 am. And get a good healthy breakfast to start walking over a flat area by the Urubamba riverside for about 1½ hours. Then we continue to go up the route for 1 more hour taking the ancient Inca jungle trail, a rustic and rough road full of rocks and stones (with some steps on it), we can observe various wild animals of the region like birds (parrots, hummingbirds, jungle eagles, marakarakus, etc) and fruit & medicine plants like bananas, avocados, yuca, mangos, pineapples, oranges, pacay, tangerines, cacao, coffee and coca crops, etc... Then arriving to the hamlet of Q´ellumayu where we get some rest and have lunch?After that we go on with our trek walking by the river for about 2 hours to arrive to the hot springs of Santa Teresa.

We relax for about 1 hour and continue walking for 45 minutes more to arrive to the second major town of SANTA TERESA, approx. at 6 pm .(We rest, dinner & overnight here).


Day 3: Trek  Santa Teresa ? Aguas Calientes + Zip line

 The third day starts at 6:30 am with a typical breakfast in Santa Teresa and then practice zip line. (This activity is additional and optional) This day is characterized by its pleasant climate is tropical. After the adventure activity our transportation will take us from Santa Teresa to the hydroelectric plant, whose role is also that of being a checkpoint. Very close to this place there is a sacred Inca ceremonial site or Intihuatana waiting for us finally conclude the last stage of walk in the town of Aguas Calientes where we will go immediately to our lodging to rest and spend the night in comfortable beds. At sunset share a farewell dinner with the guide at which they report on plans for the next day.


Day 4: Machu Picchu - Cuzco

 We get up early at 4:30 am to have enough time to climb up the steep path to the MACHU PICCHU Sanctuary in about 1:30 h. and watch the sunrise, then you get private guiding in machupichu park for 2hours, after that you can wander freely until noon to relax, take the photos, walk and also climb up to the WaynaPicchu summit or just stroll to the Intipunku or the Inca Drawbridge.

 We return down to Aguas Calientes town at 18:20 pm, just to be on time to each the train back to Ollantaytambo at 20:00 them we have the bus and arrive to Cusco at 22:00.
